The Myth of Voter Fraud - NYT
According to the NYT, any attempts at combating voter fraud must be a vote-suppressing plot by Republicans. Although I’m not a member of the Republican party, I still support this concept in general. I’m sure the NYT would thus consider me a hack, but does it make a difference that I would support legislation like this even if it hurt turnout levels of people who voted for candidates I support? Because I would. To me, it’s got nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with reasonable expectations and protecting the integrity of the republic.
