When I see a blog with comments enabled, it turns me off. I’m like, “This person thinks anonymous opinions of strangers have value. Probably not worth reading their stuff.”

You realize this is why everyone hates Americans, don’t you? Because (they think) we have complete disregard for anyone else’s opinion and think we are the only ones who matter in this world.
Coming from someone who’s so smart (and I mean that sincerely, not that you care), this was a stupid comment.
One day, when you get older, you will realize that no man is an island, entire of itself. You will learn that the only way to evolve, the only way to grow as a person, is to allow strangers into your life. Because the opinions of the people you don’t think matter, are usually the opinions you need to hear the most.
