John Edwards to Quit Presidential Race - AP →
Good grief. The reporter’s enthusiasm for Edwards practically bleeds off the page. This is an editorial, not journalism.

Electile Dysfunction: the inability to become aroused over any of the choices for president put forth by either party in the 2008 election year. Via my supervisor, who states: “Yes, these are the kind of jokes my dad likes to send to his daughter.”

Driver drops bid to sue family of boy he killed -... →
Tomas Delgado had filed a suit asking the dead boy’s parents to pay him €20,000 ($29,400) on the grounds that the collision that killed their teenage son also damaged his Audi A-8. As my co-worker says, “This story makes me wish we could bring back the Medieval stockade in the town center and throw vegetables at this guy.”

iVideosongs Teaches You How To Be A Real Guitar... →
It offers video tutorials on how to play guitar from world-class instructors, musicians and sidemen. This site seems to be aimed squarely at the aging Baby Boomer male who still wans to play guitar. And there are a lot of those. But, actually, anyone can learn from the videos, which are quite good. The videos are large and clearly show closeups of exactly what you need to do.

Instapundit podcast: Jonah Goldberg on Hillary,... →
[Show description:] It’s sure to make a splash, and it’s already got some left bloggers in a tizzy even though it doesn’t come out until next week. It’s Jonah Goldberg’s new book, Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning. The title comes from H.G. Wells, and the history won’t be news to people...

A fascinating argument. Still, I don’t see how somebody who has dropped out of the race could possibly win it.
